- Specialty Building Products signed a definitive agreement to acquire Bethlehem, Pa.-based Reeb Millwork Corporation.
- UFP Industries announced that UFP Distribution, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UFP Construction, acquired the operating assets of Shelter Products in Haleyville, Ala., for $6.5 million.

- Specialty retailer Floor & Decor opened a new location in Waltham, Mass.
- Knauf Insulation will be breaking ground on a 600,000 square foot manufacturing facility in McGregor, Texas. The facility will produce 500 million square feet of insulation per year and is anticipated to be operational in late 2023.
- The National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association (NLBMDA) announced that Trusscore is the newest member of the association’s Manufacturers and Services Council.
- The Home Builders Institute announced the opening of the BuildStrong Academy, its Orlando-based facility for training people for jobs in construction.

- The Home Depot will invest $10 million in venture capital funds that promote diversity, technology, and entrepreneurship.
- Paradigm, a technology platform serving the new construction and home improvement markets, announced its digital selling solution for home improvement contractors is now compatible with a line of Bosch laser measurement tools.
- PPG Paints entered a partnership with HomeSphere allowing home builders to access significant rebates on PPG paints through My HomeSphere.
