Trex Company launched a new professionally focused website designed to expand the company’s reach and accessibility. The website, Trex.com/Professionals, provides digital content dedicated to satisfying the information and material needs of the AEC (architect, engineer, contractor) community.

“Given the unmatched reputation and performance of Trex products, and our extensive and carefully curated portfolio, interest in Trex from the AEC community has grown tremendously in recent years,” Leslie Adkins, vice president of marketing for Trex, said in a news release. “Our products have proven ideal for both commercial and residential applications, ranging from hospitality and retail to residential and community projects that call for premium performance with low-maintenance ease and a modern lifestyle aesthetic.”

Adkins said with the launch of the pro-focused site, Trex intends to elevate awareness of its products and brand as a “one-stop resource” and make it easier for professionals to achieve their design visions with the manufacturer’s wood-alternative decking products.

The website target landscape and building architects, along with designers, engineers, and commercial contractors and offers a digital resource hub where they can access pertinent information about Trex’s product offerings, which include decking, railing, cladding, fascia, outdoor lighting, pergola, deck drainage, outdoor kitchen components, fire and water features, outdoor furniture, and related accessories. The site also features content that educates, engages, and empowers professionals with the product confidence needed to specify Trex products for their project portfolios.

The website displays product and technical information in a streamlined and easily navigable manner, according to the manufacturer. This includes a company overview, product overview, support, projects and case studies, and downloadable resources.

“Trex decking has long been specified by architects for projects large and small,” Adkins said. “This site is designed to make it easier for professionals to access the breadth of the Trex product offering and expand the Trex application possibilities in residential and commercial design.”

Winchester, Va.-based Trex Company offers its decking and railing products through a network of building products distributors and dealers across the United States. The company’s products are sold at more than 6,700 retail locations.
