Paradigm launched Paradigm Payments, a payment processing service designed to help building professionals eliminate the unnecessary costs and complexity associated with payment processing. The service allows contractors, distributors, dealers, and manufacturers to securely accept credit or debit cards and process checks in the field or in-store, according to Paradigm.

Paradigm Payments integrates with existing accounting systems and applications, works seamlessly with third-party terminals, and adds convenience and professionalism to each transaction, according to Paradigm.

“Although implementing an integrated payments solution has become essential for the building products industry, it remains one of the most intimidating and confusing parts of the business,” Matt Davis, Paradigm product director, said in a news release.

Paradigm Payments is made available through a partnership with Paya, a provider of integrated payments and commerce solutions, including billing services, payment acceptance, data management, and automated back office reconciliation.

“We’re excited to launch this service with a partner who is not only a leader in the payments space, but also shares our vision of simplifying how money moves in this industry,” Davis said. “Paradigm Payments already integrates with Paradigm Vendo, our digital in-home selling solution, and we fully expect to roll out integrations with our full suite of industry solutions.”

Dealer Builders FirstSource acquired Paradigm for $450 million in June as part of the company’s strategy to invest in innovative digital solutions to help customers build more efficiently.
