Regional building materials distributor DW Distribution announced roofing manufacturer GAF has been awarded as DW’s 2021 Vendor of the Year.
“Impressive unit growth, best-in-class solutions, high levels of engagement, and a strong commitment to two-step distribution earned GAF this year’s award,” David Cusey, DW vice president of business development, said in a news release. “In a challenging year for product availability like we all experienced in 2021, we appreciate that GAF ‘picked sides’ with DW and our customers.”
DW Distribution, an operating brand of Specialty Building Products, was founded in 1955 and is a distributor of building materials for the retail lumber dealer. The company offers a broad range of building materials, millwork, and pre-hung door units, featuring brands such as Araupel, Braspine, Endura, GAF, James Hardie, Masonite, Owens Corning, and Roseburg. The company operates five locations serving a customer base that spans the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico.
