LP Building Solutions appointed Jose Bayardo to the company’s board of directors, effective immediately. Bayardo is the senior vice president and CFO of NOV Inc., a global provider of technology and equipment to the energy industry based in Houston, Texas.
“With Jose’s experience, expertise, and perspective, he will be a valuable addition to our board,” LP Building Solutions chairman and CEO Brad Southern said in a news release. “He has successfully navigated several corporate transformations and brings a wealth of experience in finance, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder value creation. Jose is a change agent, and we look forward to his strategic insight as we continue to execute our transformation strategy.”
Prior to joining NOV in 2015, Bayardo served as the senior vice president of resource and business development at Continental Resources and spent nine years in various roles at Complete Production Services. The new LP board member also served as an investment banker with J.P. Morgan Securities.
Nashville, Tenn.-based LP Building Solutions operates 25 plants in the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Chile.
