Concord Lumber Corporation will now operate under the corporate name of Concord Building & Design Center. Founded in 1946, the company operates over ten storefronts in eastern Massachusetts.
“As we’ve grown each of our divisions has operated under its own name, we’ve decided after months of research and due diligence that the best path forward for our company’s continued growth and commitment to excellence is through unity,” the company wrote on its website.
Concord Lumber and Littleton Lumber will now be named Concord Lumber & Design Center, The Kitchen Works will now operate under the name Concord Kitchen & Design Center, and Forester Moulding & Millwork will operate under the name Concord Millwork & Design Center. Additionally, ColorWorks Paint & Paint & Decorating Centers will operate as Concord Paint & Design Centers eventually, but will not rebrand with the other Concord brands, according to the company.
The rebranding transition will take place over the next six months via a phased approach, according to Concord. The new corporate name will begin appearing on statements, receipts, invoices, signs, trucks, websites, and social media profiles.
