ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and other select exterior building products, opened a new branch location in Lufkin, Texas. The branch is the distributor’s second Texas greenfield opening in the past two months and represents ABC Supply’s 45th Texas location overall.
Carver James will serve as the branch manager for the Lufkin ABC Supply branch. James joined the company in 2017 as a warehouse associate at the distributor’s Champaign, Ill., location. In 2019, James transferred to the company’s O’Fallon, Mo., location and was then promoted to an inside sales role before accepting a position at ABC Supply’s Garland, Texas, branch location in 2020.
“We’re excited to expand our presence in east Texas with the opening of our Lufkin location,” southwest region vice president Jonathan Shepard said in a news release. “Carver will lead his team in providing contractors with the products and support they need to achieve their business goals.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply operates over 800 locations across the United States. Earlier in 2021, ABC Supply expanded with greenfield openings in Salt Lake City, Utah,Port St. Lucie, Fla., Lihue, Hawaii, Centreville, Md., St. George, Utah, and Redmond, Ore., and the purchases of Kentucky-based Exterior Supply and Oklahoma-based Gutter Source.
