Gulfeagle Supply, a full line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products, acquired two-unit Quality Building Supply. Gulfeagle Supply, founded in 1973, has grown to over 85 locations across the United States.
Quality Building Supply operates two locations in Chicago and Elgin, Ill. Walter Piton, who acquired the business in the early 1990s, will continue to manage both locations with his team as part of the Gulfeagle family of businesses.
The acquisition expands Gulfeagle’s Chicago presence to three branches across the Chicago metropolitan area to better serve the contractor in Itasca, Chicago, and Elgin. The additional branches will fall under the leadership of Jim Barnish, vice president of operations district 1B, according to Gulfeagle.
