Boise Cascade promoted Jim Wickham to the role of vice president of building materials distribution (BMD) eastern operations.
“Jim has been a strong leader in our company and industry,” CEO Nate Jorgensen said in a news release. “He has a proven commitment to living our Values to serve our customers and suppliers.”
Wickham joined Boise Cascade in 2008 as the branch manager of the company’s Westfield, Mass., distribution center. In 2016, Wickham was selected to lead the northeast region for BMD and was promoted to general manager of eastern operations in 2020.
Wickham previously served more than 20 years in various sales, product management, and leadership positions in the distribution industry.
Boise, Idaho-based Boise Cascade is a producer of engineered wood products and plywood and a wholesale distributor of building products.
