Boise Cascade Announces Two Executive Leadership Promotions

Rob Johnson and Chris Seymour have been appointed to new senior vice president roles within the company.

Boise Cascade promoted Rob Johnson to the role of senior vice president of engineered wood products, sales and marketing, and Chris Seymour to the role of senior vice president of manufacturing operations, wood products. The two promotions followed shortly after the company promoted Jim Wickham to the role of vice president, building materials distribution eastern operations.

Johnson joined Boise Cascade as a business optimization engineer in 2014 and was selected as the director of engineered wood products (EWP) sales and marketing team in March 2019. Johnson was then promoted to the role of vice president of EWP sales and marketing in January 2020.

Boise Cascade’s manufacturing operations include an integrated network of lumber, plywood, and EWP plants around the country. Seymour began with Boise Cascade in 2000 and has held key leadership roles at several facilities, according to the company. He was promoted to vice president in January 2020.

“Rob, Chris, and Jim are leaders in our company and industry,” CEO Nate Jorgensen said in a news release. “It has been an extremely challenging environment these past two years. These leaders have a proven commitment to living our values and finding creative solutions to serve our customers and suppliers.

Boise, Idaho-based Boise Cascade is a producer of engineered wood products and plywood and a wholesale distributor of building products.
