Tom Le Vere, president of Weekes Forest Products, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacArthur Company, announced his plans to retire from the company, effective December 31, 2022. Scott Gardner, the current vice president of distribution for the company, will become president of Weekes Forest Products, effective January 1, 2023.

Le Vere began his career in the LBM industry with Wickes Lumber in 1979 and has been active as a wholesale distributor since 1995. In 2010, Le Vere joined Weekes Forest Products and has served as the company president since 2014.

“Over the past twelve years, it has been an honor to be part of Weekes Forest Products. My success is attributable to the talented people I’m surrounded by every day, and I’m confident that the company will continue to thrive and rise to even greater heights in the year to come,” Le Vere said in a news release. “I’d also like to thank Steve Weekes and Barrett Moen for the opportunity they gave me, as well as thank the talented team of men and women that work very hard each day to make Weekes and Snavely Forest Products the great companies they are today.”

Barrett Moen, president of MacArthur Company, announced Clark Spitzer will be promoted to president of Snavely Forest Products, effective January 1, 2023. Snavely is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacArthur Company. MacArthur acquired Snavely Forest Products in 2018.
