Kodiak Building Partners promoted John Dadderio and Blayne Patrick to the roles of co-presidents at Specialty Appliance, based in Denver, Co. Dadderio and Patrick fill the positions left by the promotions of Greg Ulvedal and Kirk Dryden, who recently became co-presidents of the interiors group for Kodiak.
Patrick has 26 years of experience in the appliance industry, working in both manufacturing and retail with Sears, Montgomery, Ward, Circuit City, and Dacor. Patrick joined Specialty Appliance seven years ago.
Dadderio previously owned five different businesses before becoming affiliated with Specialty Appliance in 2004 as an independent contractor. Dadderio was ultimately hired by the organization in 2014, shortly before Specialty Appliance was acquired by Kodiak.
According to Kodiak, Dadderio and Patrick do not plan on any “major changes” at Specialty Appliance under their direction. Patrik will focus on sales while Dadderio will focus on operations, according to the organization.
