Cameron Ashley Building Products is relocating and expanding its Houston distributor center. The new Houston location will continue to stock a full line of roofing, gypsum, insulation, siding, and accessories.

“Our new location will support our continued growth and expansion with more than three times our current storage capacity. This new centralized location will make it more efficient for our will call customers and all of our customers will see an improvement in our net speed from initial call to delivery,” distribution center manager Austin Crow said in a news release. “The extra space will allow us to inventory more products, enhance our delivery capabilities, and allow us to add new and exciting vendor partners to our in stock and out of warehouse delivery programs. We are excited to service our customers with more products and improved delivery.”

Cameron Ashley aid key suppliers stocked at the Houston location include Knauf Insulation, National Gypsum, TAMKO Roofing, Armstrong Ceilings, and CertainTeed Roofing.

“We are pleased to continue to provide extraordinary customer service and fast delivery to the Houston market,” said regional vice president Aaron Davis. “This new facility will allow us to expand our sales and service teams to keep up with the unprecedented growth.”

Cameron Ashley, a portfolio company of private investment firm Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, is a wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products. South Carolina-based Cameron Ashley operates a network of more than 45 stocking distribution centers throughout the United States.
