Building materials and specialty distributor L&W Supply named Jeffrey Pettit as the company’s new Columbus, Ohio branch manager. Pettit began his career with L&W Supply as a driver in 2004.
Since joining the company, Pettit has served in a myriad of roles, including as a warehouse manager, inside sales associate, delivery services manager, and branch manager for the L&W Supply Saginaw, Mich., branch.
“Jeff inspires others with his dedication to his team and customers,” L&W Supply’s Great Lakes district manager Tracy Hein said in a news release. “I am excited to see Jeff and his team assist Columbus contractors, providing support and expert knowledge to help them succeed.”
In the branch manager role, Pettit will be responsible for daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and executing branch growth and profitability, according to the company.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, operates approximately 200 locations in 40 states. The company distributes wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building products.
