Exterior millwork products producer Belco Forest Products appointed Mike Richardson to the role of chief operating officer. In the position, Richardson will be responsible for overseeing production and sales while enhancing operational excellence, according to Shelton, Wash.-based Belco Forest Products.

Richardson joins Belco from Humboldt Redwood Company, a company focused on Redwood lumber manufacturing, sales, and distribution. In his role with Humboldt Redwood, Richardson was responsible for leading its key strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, market, and product diversification.
“Under Mike’s leadership we have increased product efficiency and lowered operating costs and downtime while improving productivity and accuracy in shipping and maintaining our premium quality product,” Bill Staley, president and CEO of Belco Forest Products, said.
