Huttig Building Products, a Woodgrain Company, entered into a distribution partnership with composite wood-alternative decking and railing products manufacturer Fiberon. According to Huttig, the partnership significantly expands Fiberon’s distribution throughout the Southeast region of the United States.
“We’re excited to enhance our relationship with Fortune Brands by partnering with Fiberon. This agreement makes Fiberon available from Huttig in key markets, including North Carolina, South Carolina, southern Virginia, Georgia, and Florida,” Todd Dame, president of distribution for Woodgrain-Huttig, said in a news release. “Our focus on delivering best-in-class service along with Fiberon’s premium products is a winning combination for our customers.”
Huttig has enjoyed a partnership with Therma-Tru Doors for 40 year. Therma-Tru Doors and Fiberon are part of Fortune Brands Home & Security. According to Huttig, the new agreement with Fiberon leverages the strengths of the existing Therma-Tru partnership and enhances Huttig’s product offering. Huttig will offer a full product line from six locations in Rocky Mount, N.C., Greenville, S.C., Davenport, Fla., Jacksonville, Fla., Riviera Beach, Fla., and Fort Myers, Fla.
“We are thrilled to leverage our almost 40-year relationship with Huttig, a leading value-added distributor and valuable partner to Therma-Tru, and now Fiberon,” Fenton Challgren, president of Fortune Brands’ Outdoors Business Unit, said. “The partnership between Fiberon and Huttig will provide premium outdoor living products and excellent customer support, giving us the ability to drive sales growth and profitability together.”
Fiberon said it will support the partnership through continued investment in capacity, innovation, brand, customer programs, and merchandising.
Huttig Building Products was acquired by Fruitland, Idaho-based Woodgrain in 2022. Woodgrain is a producer of moldings, doors, and windows, with six divisions and over 30 manufacturing and warehouse facilities in the United States and South America.
