Hiawatha, Iowa-based Ogden & Adams Building Solutions announced it will acquire the assets of Delhi Lumber, another Iowa-based company. Delhi Lumber, based in Delhi, Iowa, specializes in lumber packages, millwork, siding, roofing, windows, and doors. Ogden & Adams said it plans to retain all staff and to continue operation under the Delhi Lumber brand name.
“We are excited to welcome the customers and staff of Delhi Lumber to Ogden & Adams” said Marty Hoeger, owner, and president of Ogden & Adams. “Both companies place a high value on customer service and delivering quality products to our customers.”
Delhi Lumber co-owners Mike and Vivian Cairney will assist with the transition, but both plan on retiring from the business in the near future, according to a news release.
“I am proud of our staff and the business we built,” said Mike Cairney. “The merging of these two companies will be good for our employees and customers and I think it is very exciting opportunity.”
Ogden & Adams recently relocated to its new 20,000-square-foot facility in Hiawatha. The facility serves as the company headquarters and design center in addition to housing some of the company’s inventory.
“The addition of this great company and its experienced and talented staff expands our service offering, our sales footprint and increases our buying power,” Hoeger said. “The team at Delhi Lumber brings significant industry experience and skillset.”
