BlueLinx Appoints VPs of Finance and Talent

Gui Nebel will serve as the vice president of finance and treasury and Dionne Vernon will serve as the vice president of talent and management.

BlueLinx Holdings named Dionne Vernon as vice president of talent and management and Gui Nebel as vice president of finance and treasury. According to the company, the hires support BlueLinx’s commitment to world-class financial management and career development to bolster growth and develop company talent.

Vernon joined the company a month ago and, in her new role, will be responsible for developing and managing employee programs and experiences to foster professional development, according to BlueLinx. Prior to joining BlueLinx, Vernon worked at Comcast Corporation as senior director, where she led various functions across the business and human resources, including talent management, employee engagement, organizational planning, customer experience strategy, and project management.

Nebel joins BlueLinx from Veritiv Corporation, where he worked as the vice president of finance and treasurer for the past six years.

“Two of our greatest strengths as a company are our financial stewardship and performance-focused leadership,” Kevin Henry, Chief People Officer at BlueLinx, said in a prepared statement. “Vernon and Nebel are proven executives that are tremendous additions to our leadership team. We are excited about what they bring to the business.”

Marietta, Ga.-based BlueLinx has a distribution footprint serving 50 states and distributes its range of structural and specialty products to approximately 15,000 customers across the United States.
