Beacon opened two Texas greenfield locations in Brownsville and Georgetown. With the two new locations, Beacon has grown its service across the state to 32 total branches.

“Both residential and commercial contractors will gain service and expertise from us in these growing Texas markets,” Peter Lippert, Beacon’s regional vice president of Texas, said in a news release. “The customer experience we provide will save contractors time and help them to serve their own customers. We also look forward to being active in our new communities, giving back via programs like our national partnership with Rebuilding Together.”

Beacon said opening a location in Brownsville provides service to customers in the Rio Grande Valley region of south Texas. The Georgetown branch is located in the Austin-Round Rock-Georgetown metro area, where customers can benefit from inventory and on-time delivery via the Beacon OTC network, according to the company.

With the new locations, Beacon has opened a total of 13 greenfield branches in 2022, including other Texas stores in Lubbock, College Station, and Sherman.

Herndon, Va.-based Beacon distributes roofing materials and complementary building products. The company operates over 470 branches throughout all 50 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.
