  • Westlake Royal Building Products introduced the Immersive Experience, an online 3D interactive program designed to showcase products from all of the Westlake Royal brands.
  • Derby Building Products announced its Tando Composites’ Beach House Shake and TandoStone brands will be distributed by Manion’s Wholesale Building Supplies’ branches in Superior, Wis., and St. Cloud, Minn.
  • McCoy’s Building Supply will offer its customers Simpson Strong-Tie Deck Planner Software and Pergola Planner Software.
  • Acme Tools is opening a new distribution center in Burnsville, Minn. The company says the facility will support its e-commerce division and better serve its increasing base of e-commerce customers throughout the United States.

  • CertainTeed expanded the regional availability of Landmark ClimateFlex and Landmark Solaris AR. Landmark ClimateFlex will be available in the north central, east central, and lake central regions. Landmark Solaris AR expanded availability throughout all regions of the United States and Canada.
  • Do it Best graduated the inaugural class from its LBM Academy.
  • BlueTape announced TEMO Sunrooms is now offering net terms through its payment and financing portal.
  • BlueLinx Holdings expanded its distribution partnership with LP Building Solutions. The expansion includes LP’s Siding Solutions brands and prefinished solutions in the Southeast and Midwest regions.
  • Parr Lumber announced a strategic rebrand that includes a refreshed brand identity and new logo.

  • Big Rapids Lumber & Hardware is offering net terms through BlueTape.
  • Global Leisure Investment Holdings, dba Global Leisure, introduced the SPIRE outdoor cooking brand.
  • Saint-Gobain North America, through its building products subsidiary CertainTeed Roofing, acquired the rights to technology from recycling partner Asphaltica that will allow the company to recycle asphalt shingle waste.
  • Huber Engineered Woods no longer plans to develop a new oriented strand board (OSB) facility in Cohasset, Minn.
  • Novo Building Products introduced “Custom Mouldings on Demand,” a program offering custom and short-run mouldings orders supplied through its Empire Moulding & Millwork and Southwest Moulding & Millwork divisions.
  • Lowe’s and Klein Tools entered a partnership through which the home-improvement retail will offer the widest selection of Klein Tools products in the home improvement retail channel.

  • Foundation Building Materials partnered with the Los Angeles Angels as the team’s jersey patch partner.
  • Lowe’s completed the sale of its Canadian retail business to Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm specializing in retail, consumer, and distribution-related investments.

  • Simpson Strong-Tie announced a $1.3 million strategic investment in Higharc, an all-in-one home building platform for design, sales, and construction.

  • Saint-Gobain, through building products subsidiary CertainTeed, intends to build a manufacturing facility and distribution center in Bryan, Texas.
  • Koopman Lumber has been recognized as the “Best Family-Owned Business” by the Worcester Business Journal in the publication’s Best of Business Awards.
  • The Kodiak Building Partners Foundation will host its first annual charity golf tournament at Arrowhead Golf Course in Littleton, Co., on Sept. 19, 2023.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie announced the expansion of its Construction Trades Support program with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley.
  • Simpson Strong-Tie acquired Elk Grove, Calif.-based EstiFrame Technologies. EstiFrame provides component manufacturing and framing technologies to the construction industry, including the EasyFrame automated marking system.

  • Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, acquired the bagging assets of Grant County Mulch, based on Petersburg, W.V.
  • Window and door manufacturer Pella acquired Win-Dor, a vinyl window and door manufacturer located near Brea, Calif.
  • Weyerhaeuser Company and independent energy company Denbury announced an agreement for the evaluation and potential development of a CO2 sequestration site in Mississippi.
  • Lumbermen’s Inc. of Grand Rapid, Mich., announced the company has moved all existing supplier rebate programs to ABMDA of Brentwood, Calif.
  • The Hawaii Lumber Products Association announced it dissolved the organization on December 31, 2022.
  • G Wood Pro expanded its U.S. distribution partnerships by adding US Lumber Brokers.
  • Trex sold its commercial business to Sightline Commercial Solutions for $8.25 million.
  • Masonite announced the completion of its acquisition of Endura Products.
