Beacon Appoints Dan Worley as Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety

Worley has served in numerous leadership roles in a career spanning more than three decades with the company.

Beacon appointed Dan Worley as the company’s vice president of environment, health & safety (EHS). Worley has been in the roofing industry his entire career and has served 32 years with Beacon, according to the company. Most recently, he served as the regional vice president of the Mid-Atlantic.

“This role gives me the opportunity to dedicate myself to Beacon and the industry in a new way that goes right to my heart for engaging people,” Worley said in a news release. “Having led 30 branches and 540 team members in our Mid-Atlantic region, I have seen the impact of positivity and the power of caring for one another on the job and off. I could not be more pleased to receive the appointment and contribute continuous improvement on our environment, health, and safety journey.”

Beacon president and CEO Julian Francis said thee appointment is an example of the company executing on its Ambition 2025 strategy by building a “Winning Culture.”

Herndon, Va.-based Beacon distributes roofing materials and complementary building products. The company operates over 480 branches throughout all 50 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.
