L&W Supply appointed Michael Simmons the branch manager of the building product distributor’s Sacramento, Calif., store location. Simmons joined L&W Supply as part of an acquisition in 2021.
“Michael’s deep understanding of construction, operations, and customer service has created strong partnerships with customers and vendors,” Dave Hovekamp, manager of L&W Supply’s Northern California District, said in a news release. “He and his team will continue to support Sacramento-area contractors, ensuring they have the tools and materials they need for each project.”
As branch manager, Simmons will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and executing branch growth and profitability, the company said.
Chicago-based L&W Supply, a subsidiary of ABC Supply, operates over 220 branches in 40 states. The company is one of the nation’s largest distributors of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building products.
