Cameron Ashley Building Products announced the opening of its third distribution in the state of Louisiana, in Covington. The service center will stock roofing, gypsum, insulation, siding, forest products including engineered wood products, and associated accessories. Cameron Ashley said the location in Covington is a continuation of the company’s strategy to expand its footprint throughout the Southeastern United States.
“We are thrilled to continue strengthening our relationships and commitment to unparalleled customer service in the key markets of the Bayou State and the Gulf Coast,” said Regional Vice President John Gambone. “Additionally, this location allows us to provide enhanced service to Mississippi, including forest products in select markets.”
Cameron Ashley, a portfolio company of private investment firm Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, is a wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and other specialty building products. South Carolina-based Cameron Ashley operates a network of more than 45 stocking distribution centers throughout the United States.
