Lowe’s has appointed Juliette Pryor as executive vice president, chief legal officer, and corporate secretary, effective May 3, 2023. Pryor will succeed Bill McCanless in the role, who had served as the executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary since 2015.

Pryor joins the home-improvement retailer from Albertsons, where she served as the executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary. Before joining Albertsons, she served as the general counsel of Cox Enterprises and as general counsel and chief compliance officer of US Foods.

“Juliette is an incredibly accomplished executive with an outstanding legal background, and the breadth and depth of her experience will be a great asset to Lowe’s,” Marvin Ellison, Lowe’s chairman and CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Juliette is an exceptional leader with strong legal and business acumen, and I’m excited that she will be part of our executive leadership team.”
