Benjamin Obdyke, a supplier of moisture management products and innovations, added Scott Murray and Michael Lee as market development managers for the west coast and mid-Atlantic, respectively.
Murray will serve architect, builder, and dealer customers in California, Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico. In the role, Murray will focus on pull-through sales via architect specification as well as product and installation education for builders, contractors, developers, and dealers. Murray has worked his entire career in the construction industry, including recent sales management and technical positions at Boral Building Products and California Cascade Industries.
“Along with Scott’s extensive experience and intimate market knowledge, his dedication to the products he sells instills an invaluable level of trust among his customers,” Tara Murray, marketing director for Benjamin Obdyke, said in a news release. “This will be key as we continue to reach new markets and customers in the west and southwest.”
Michael Lee served for six years as a territory sales manager for tool manufacturer Enerpac. In his role as market development manager, Lee will support dealer and pro customers in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware with product knowledge and specification support, education, and market development and expansion.
