Boise Cascade’s Building Materials Distribution (BMD) division announced today that it has completed the purchase of a 120,000 square foot warehouse and distribution facility in West Palm Beach, Fla.
“We are excited for the opportunity to open this new distribution facility for Boise Cascade and join the West Palm Beach community,” Chuck Donaldson, branch manager for Boise Cascade, said in a prepared statement. “This purchase solidifies our long-term commitment to our valued customers in the South Florida market.?
The total property is 9.7 acres and will provide additional storage and service capacity for the BMD’s Pompano Beach branch, according to the company.
“This major expansion fits with our strategy of growing in the markets we currently serve to provide a deeper depth of quality products along with dependable, consistent service for our customers,” Jim Wickham, vice president of the BMD eastern operations, said.
Boise, Idaho-based Boise Cascade Company is a producer of engineered wood products and plywood and a wholesale distributor of building products.
