Four construction supply dealers won Grand Awards in the 2015 ProSales Excellence Awards, while two other dealers received Merit Awards. The awards program
celebrates business leaders whose creativity and ingenuity have not only
improved and reinvigorated their own companies but have also set new benchmarks
for service in the entire industry.
The 2015 Excellence Awards winners, locations, and categories
are:
Entrants competed in seven categories: Best Overall Yard or Facility Design; Best Showroom Design; Best Marketing Campaign/Customer Service Program; Best Single Advertisement or Series of Advertisements; Best Use of Technology; Best Education Program; and Best Safety Program. A panel of four independent judges evaluated the entries to decide which, regardless of the category, were worthy of recognition as Excellence Award winners and as merit awards. In addition to being featured in the November/December issue of ProSales, Grand winners receive $500 and Merit winners $150 to donate to a charity of their choice.
This year’s judges were Rick Davis, president of Chicago-based Building Leaders and ProSales columnist; Chris Rader, president of Rader Solutions in Lafayette, La.; Mike Kauchak, marketing manager of Green Bay, Wisc.-based US LBM (the 2015 ProSales Dealer of the Year); and Deanna Jenkins, president of Thomas Lumber in Orlando, Fla.
