There are just 11 specialty dealers on this year’s ProSales 100, but together they generated nearly 42% of the entire 2017 PS100’s revenue. In contrast, lumberyards that don’t have manufacturing facilities may have made up 27% of total numbers, but they figured in less than 7% of sales.
This imbalance means that the PS100 rankings differ greatly depending on the type of company being measured. Here are the top 10 specialty firms and lumberyards with and without manufacturing. They account for 99 of the 100; the other was a long millwork/molding specialist.
