This year marks the 25th anniversary of the first ProSales 100 list, so for May’s issue of the magazine thought we’d reproduce that original list. But in looking over it, we were hard-pressed to identify over a third of the companies. Harcros Lumber? Gerrity Building Centers? Stripling Blake Lumber? They’re all mysteries to the current ProSales staff.
But you know better. Please help us, and your fellow LBM community members, in telling us what happened to the companies on the list whose fates we’ve left blank. If you’re still in business, let us know. If the company was sold, then to who? And who owns it now? (We know that several firms here have been through multiple owners.)
