Do It Best Corp. promoted Scott Kinkella from territory sales manager to regional sales manager. In his new role, Kinkella will lead a team dedicated to working with member-owners in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states to increase sales and profits.
“Scott is passionate about helping our members grow,” Nick Talarico, vice president of sales and business development, said in a news release. “The extensive experience he’s gained throughout his career has allowed him to provide solutions to drive profitability in our members’ businesses and offer expert guidance to help them compete and win in their markets.”
After serving in the Army, Kinkella began working in several sales and leadership roles with Georgia-Pacific and BlueLinx Holdings. Kinkella joined Do It Best in 2015 as a territory sales manager and most recently served as a multilocation sales and business development manager.
Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Do It Best is a hardware, lumber, and building materials buying cooperative in the home improvement industry. The company, with annual sales nearing $4 billion, serves thousands of member-owned locations across the United States.
