“Where have you been?” he asked in a panic.

I told him about Rocco’s message explaining a few changes on the job.

“A few changes?” Jason asked, bewildered. “He added two more wings on the back of the building. I’ve got a monster order for you.”

No matter how well I think I know Rocco, I just can’t predict him. I was back on the phone canceling appointments again. But this time, thanks to the size of those new wings, I didn’t mind so much. I guess sometimes you have to accept the fact that you’re a salesperson, not a mind reader.
