Building products distributor ABC Supply named Mike Vertnik as district manager of the company’s west central district, which includes locations in Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
Vertnik began with ABC Supply in 2005 as an inside sales associate at a location in Maple Plain, Minn. The newly promoted district manager then transferred in 2006 to the St. Paul, Minn., location and was later promoted to branch manager of the company’s Savage, Minn., location. In 2014, Vertnik was named a managing partner and president’s club member.
“Mike has been very successful at every level in the organization,” Joe Small, midwest region vice president at ABC Supply, said in a prepared statement. “His aptitude for operational excellence, focus on the contractor, and relationship-building skills will serve him well in his new role as manager of the west central district.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply has nearly 800 locations across the United States.
