ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and other select exterior building products, opened a new branch location in Concord, N.C.
Chris Bauerle will manage the new branch, according to an ABC Supply news release. Bauerle has worked in the building materials industry for 17 years, including 13 years with Norandex Building Materials Distribution. The newly appointed branch manager joined ABC Supply when the distributor acquired Norandex in 2015. Most recently, Bauerle has served as the delivery services manager for ABC Supply’s Charlotte, N.C., location.
“We’re excited about the opening of our Concord branch, which will allow us to meet the growing demands for building products and support in the greater Charlotte area,” Frank Marcoccio, vice president of ABC Supply’s southeast region, said. “Chris and his team will do a great job of ensuring that area contractors get the support they need to make their jobs easier.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply previously expanded three times via the acquisition market in 2020. The distributor acquired Wisconsin-based distributors Midwest Wholesale Materials and Badger Building Supply in January and Exterior Building Supply in March. The company also opened a greenfield location in Mesa, Ariz., in February. ABC Supply was the largest company on the 2020 ProSales 100 list and operates nearly 800 locations across the United States.
