Building products manufacturer AZEK is readying for a public offering. CPG Newco, doing business as the AZEK Company, has submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The move is related to a proposed initial public offering of shares of common stock following AZEK’s conversion into a corporation. AZEK has not yet determined the offering price or number of shares to be offered, but intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to redeem its outstanding 8.000% senior notes due 2021 and for general corporate purposes, according to a news release.

Chicago-based AZEK’s four business units include AZEK Building Products, Versatex, Scranton Products, and Vycom. The outdoor living division of AZEK Building Products includes TimberTech decking.
