Beacon announced it has opened greenfield locations in Durham, N.C., and La Vergne, Tenn. With the two new openings, Beacon has opened 15 total greenfield locations in 2022, exceeding the company’s original commitment to open 10 during the year and executing on growth and customer experience goals in its Ambition 2025 plan, according to the company.
The Durham branch broadens Beacon’s service in the high growth Raleigh-Durham market, according to the company.
“[The Durham branch] is stocked with leading brands of roofing and complementary products, including Beacon’s own TRI-BUILT products,” Brian Gibson, Beacon’s regional vice president of the south Atlantic, said in a news release. “This branch adds further service capabilities to our Beacon OTC network service Research Triangle Park. Contractors on the go will also save time and be able to work more efficiently using Beacon PRO+, our customer app.”
The La Vergne, Tenn., branch, in the Nashville metro area, is specifically designed, stocked, staffed, and equipped to serve lumberyard, building supply, and home center customers in predominantly rural markets, according to Beacon.
“This branch will enable our team to provide additional products, service, and expertise to our customers across the state of Tennessee,” Clint Wade, Beacon’s national vice president for service to rural lumberyards, said in a prepared statement.
Herndon, Va.-based Beacon distributes roofing materials and complementary building products. The company operates over 470 branches throughout all 50 U.S. states and six Canadian provinces.
