BLD Connection has elected its new board of directors:
- Scott Enter as chairman of the board
- Chris Hegeman as NLBMDA representative
- Greg Smith as Mid-America director
- Luke Guittar as associate director
- Wade Fenske as Minnesota director
Enter, the CEO of Wright Lumber & Millwork in Buffalo, Minn., has 36 years of experience in the retail lumber industry. In addition to serving as board director and as 1st vice chairman of the BLD Connection board, he was chairman of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce from 2008 to 2011 and served on the Buffalo City Council from 2010 to 2022.
Hegeman, of Bliffert Lumber & Hardware, has over 23 years of experience in the industry. He also currently serves on the BLD Connection Wisconsin board of directors, holding the positions of director, vice chairman, and chairman of the board. He has also previously served as vice president of the Milwaukee German Immersion Foundation.
Smith is the regional vice president of Bation;s Best Holdings. He has 47 years of experience in the lumber and building material industry, including 41 years specifically in retail. He has previously served on the BLD Connection Mid-America boar as the Arkansas Committee Representative, chairman, and MLA representative to the National Lumber and Building Materials Dealers Association.
Guittar is the vice president of Absolute Distribution and brings 25 years of leadership experience to the role of associate director.
Fenske is the building supplies division president at Kreofsky Building Supplies. He previously served as a board member for six years with the Lake Region Builders Association and two years with the Builders Association of Minnesota.
BLD Connection is a regional trade association representing building material dealers and suppliers in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, upper Michigan, and Wisconsin.
