Boise Cascade promoted Brian Harrington to the role of director of engineered wood products (EWP) for the company’s building materials distribution (BMD) division.
“We are pleased to announce Brian’s promotion. He has been focused and passionate about helping customers grow their engineered wood products business for the last 27 years,” Rich Viola, senior vice president of sales and marketing, said in a news release. “He will be working with the 160+ engineered wood product specialists in our 38 branches to help customers grow their business with the industry’s top-performing engineered wood solutions, backed by unrivaled customer service and support.”
Harrington joined Boise Cascade in the Delanco, N.J., BMD branch in 1994. He moved to New England in 1998 to establish the engineered wood products departments for two locations and transition to BMD’s commercial EWP department in 2008 to help develop and lead the newly established team.
Boise, Idaho-based Boise Cascade products engineered wood products and plywood in North America and is a wholesale distributor of building products.
