BFS said the company delivered an 18% reduction in recordable injuries across the company in 2021 and launched diversity, equity, and inclusion training for all team members. The dealer also monitored the composition of the workforce across functions, increased recruiting from more diverse sources, and contributed over $2 million to various charitable initiatives.
On the environmental front, BFS sourced over 90% of wood products from sustainable forestry certified vendors, utilized water-based paints to reduce hazardous waste risks, implemented a nationwide delivery routing system to maximize vehicle efficiency and minimize emissions, and monitored vehicle idle time and provided financial incentives to minimize idling and reduce emissions. The dealer tracked the benefits of material waste savings resulting from the use of the company’s READY-FRAME product and off-site component manufacturing.
BFS said the company also implemented measures to ensure appropriate and ethical business conduct and relations, such as robust accounting systems to monitor and detect potential financial irregularities.
