Cornerstone Building Brands Names Melissa Jones President of U.S. Siding

Jones brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to the role.

Cornerstone Building Brands appointed Melissa Jones as the company’s president of U.S. siding. In the role, Jones will lead Cornerstone’s U.S. residential siding and fence and rail business and report directly to president and CEO Rose Lee.

“Melissa is a highly accomplished and respected leader, and we are pleased to have her join the Cornerstone Building Brands team,” Lee said in a news release. “Her track record of partnering with customers, enabling operational excellence, and people-centric leadership will help us achieve our goal of becoming a premier exterior building solutions company.”

Jones has more than two decades of leadership experience and demonstrated success delivering revenue and profit growth through customer-centric organic growth strategies and M&A integration in the industrial machinery and electrical manufacturing industries, according to Cornerstone. Most recently, Jones served as the group president of commercial water solutions at Pentair. Previously, Jones worked in various corporate marketing functions at Generac Power Systems, Johnson Controls, Abbott Laboratories, Milwaukee Tool, and Stanley Black & Decker.

Cornerstone Building Brands was formed through the merger of NCI Building Systems and Ply Gem Building Products. The Cary, N.C.-based manufacturer makes and sells vinyl windows, vinyl siding, stone veneer, metal roofing, metal wall systems, and metal accessories.
