Davis Lumber & Hardware (DL&H) and Davis Truss promoted Cory Venable to the role of company president. Having served the Red River Lumber family of companies for nine years in various leadership roles Venable is positioned to lead DL&H and Davis Truss into a promising new era, according to the Texarkana, Ark.-based company.
As president, Venable will focus on efforts to continue strengthening and enhancing each company’s commitment to its customers and employees.

He has consistently exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and a deep understanding of our industry,” Mike Craven, CEO of Davis Lumber & Hardware and Davis Truss, said in a prepared statement. “We are confident that under his guidance, our companies will continue to thrive and elevate their positive impact on both our industry and the communities we serve.”
DL&H, founded in 2918, is a full-line lumber and building materials supplier and operates two locations in Arkansas. Davis Truss was founded in 29160 and manufactures wood roof and floor trusses for builders and lumber yards across multiple states. Both companies are part of the Red River Lumber portfolio.
