84 Lumber appointed Mark Olivani as its Manager of the Year, Nick Boyd as its Area Manager of the Year and Bailey George as its Rookie of the Year at the dealer’s annual awards banquet. Additionally, Eighty Four, Pa.-based 84 Lumber appointed sales awards to Matt Born (Gold), Dan Jones (Silver), and Chuck Freirichs (Bronze). The dealer said the 2021 awards banquet marked the first time in company history all three sales awards were presented to associates who reached over $100 million in sales in one year.

Manager of the Year Olivani has been with 84 Lumber for more than 25 years and currently manages the company’s store location in Conroe, Texas.
“I feel like Mark and I have grown up together at 84,” 84 Lumber president Maggie Hardy said in a news release. “We’ve been through so much, and he truly is deserving of this recognition.”

Area Manager of the Year Nick Boyd manages all 84 stores across the state of Texas. Boyd has been with the company for almost two decades and continues to grow the dealer’s Texas locations, according to 84 Lumber.
“One of the great things about Nick is that he was one of the key people that helped lead us into new places in Texas,” Hardy said. “Places where I never thought we could do $710 million in sales and $40 million in net income. That’s an amazing achievement. I’m proud to see him become a true entrepreneur.”
Rookie of the Year Bailey George is the co-manager of 84 Lumber’s Huntersville, N.C. store. George began his career with 84 Lumber as part of the company’s manager trainee program.
84 Lumber also named a Manufacturing Manager of the Year, a Buyer of the Year, Team Headquarters MVP, and more at the annual awards banquet at Nemacolin in Farmington, Pa. Top candidates were selected by their divisional vice president and interviewed by senior leadership at 84 Lumber team headquarters, according to the company.
