84 Lumber named Southeast Forest Products as the dealer’s 2020 Vendor of the Year. The vendor of the year is annually awarded based on various factors, including sales growth and “above-and-beyond” service, according to 84 Lumber.
According to a news release, Southeast Forest Products significantly grew sales with 84 Lumber while maintaining solid lead times. Southeast’s business is up 80% and its lead time is the lowest of all of 84 Lumber’s suppliers, according to the dealer.
“Southeast Forest Products has been an outstanding partner this year and has gone above and beyond with its communication, dependability, and commitment to partnership,” 84 Lumber chief procurement officer Troy Dally said in a news release. “Southeast is always equally concerned about our stores as we are, proving that they see themselves as an extension of our team. They work hard to support our dedicated store associates, and they proactively communicate information consistently and efficiently.”
Southeast Forest Products is a producer of pressure treated lumber headquartered in Montgomery, Ala. The company operates facilities in Louisville, Ala., Nauvoo, Ala., and Richmond, Ind.
“We highly value our partnership with 84 Lumber and are very humbled and honored to be recognized as the 2020 Vendor of the Year,” Southeast Forest Products owner Guice Slawson said. “We consistently strive to provide our customers with quality products and excellent service; anytime, anywhere.”
Eighty Four, Pa.-based 84 Lumber ranked fourth on the 2020 ProSales 100. The dealer operates nearly 250 stores, components manufacturing plants, custom door shops, custom millwork shops, and engineered wood product centers in more than 30 states. 84 Lumber said it is opening new stores soon in Stockton, Calif., Boise, Idaho, and Detroit, Mich.
