84 Lumber opened a new store location in Boise, Idaho to meet the growing need for lumber and building materials across the Pacific northwest. The retail store will offer roofing, trim, treated lumber, windows, doors, and more to customers in the greater Boise area.
“This is 84 Lumber’s first location in the state of Idaho, and we’re excited to be a part of the growth and development around Boise,” Chris Olmstead, general manager of 84 Lumber Boise, said in a news release. “We’ve already been connecting with area builders, and we look forward to expanding our relationships and becoming a part of the growing community.”
The Boise facility totals 33,000 square feet, including 8,000 square feet of showroom and office space where customers can browse and personally consult with 84 Lumber associates.
84 Lumber has been engaged in a steady expansion plan over the past year and a half. The dealer opened a truss plants in Mansfield, Ohio, in August 2020, in Richmond, Va. in February 2021, and in Statesville, N.C. in July 2021, a door and engineered wood products center in Greenville, S.C., in June 2020, a door shop in Dallas in December 2020, and an Andersen Windows & Doors showroom in Rockville, Md. in January. The dealer plans to open an already constructed store in Dayton, Ohio. 84 Lumber also plans to expand into Stockton, Calif., and Detroit, Mich., and open an additional truss plant in central Florida.
Eighty Four, Pa.-based 84 Lumber operates nearly 250 stores, component manufacturing plants, custom door shops, custom millwork shops, and engineered wood product centers in more than 30 states.
