ABC Supply, a wholesale distributor of roofing, siding, and other select exterior building products, opened a greenfield location in Lihue, Hawaii. The new branch represents the distributor’s fifth location in Hawaii.
Rocco Ranallo will serve as the branch manager in Lihue, according to ABC Supply. Ranallo began his career in the construction industry as a contractor in 2001. The new branch manager joined ABC Supply in 2013 as an outside sales associate at the company’s Crystal Lake, Ill., branch location. Ranallo was promoted to manager of ABC Supply’s Niles, Ill., location and helped open the distributor’s Elgin, Ill., location in 2017.
“AS the first ABC Supply location on the island of Kauai, the Lihue location will allow us to meet consumer needs in a new area of Hawaii,” Matt Cooper, vice president of ABC Supply’s west region, said in a news release. “With his construction background, Rocco will lead his team in providing contractors with the product and industry knowledge they need to build thriving businesses and achieve their goals.”
Beloit, Wis.-based ABC Supply operates over 800 locations across the United States. Earlier in 2021, ABC Supply expanded with greenfield openings in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Port St. Lucie, Fla., and the purchases of Kentucky-based Exterior Supply and Oklahoma-based Gutter Source.
