Exterior building products wholesale distributor ABC Supply opened a new branch location in Boise, Idaho, according to a news release from the company. The newest branch is the third location across Idaho for the Beloit, Wis.-based distributor.
Darin Weaver will manage the Boise branch for ABC Supply. Weaver has more than 20 years of management experience, including 10 years in the building materials industry, according to ABC Supply. Weaver joined the company in 2018 at the distributor’s Nampa, Idaho, branch and recently completed the company’s branch management training program.
“Darin’s management experience and industry expertise will be a great asset to Boise-area contractors as they strive to run successful businesses,” said Matt Cooper, vice president of ABC Supply’s west region. “He’ll lead an outstanding team dedicated to providing world-class customer service and resources contractors need to make their jobs easier.”
The greenfield opening continues a buying period of activity for ABC Supply. The distributor opened locations in Stockton, Calif., Twinsburg, Ohio, Ypsilanti, Mich., and East Orange, N.J., in the past two months. ABC Supply also opened new locations in Florida, Virginia, Kansas, Massachusetts, Texas, and Arizona in 2019. The distributor was the largest company on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $10.5 billion in sales during 2018. ABC Supply operates more than 760 locations across the United States.
