Ed Herrington Inc. of Hillsdale, N.Y., announced July 17 it had acquired Dunn Builders Supply, a three-store operation located in Catskill, Greenport and Chatham, N.Y. Terms weren’t disclosed.
The Dunn units will be added to the five existing Herrington locations in New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. This is the first time Herrington’s will operate a store on the west side of the Hudson River.
“The company will retain workforce levels as needed and serve customers with expanded capabilities: higher volume buying power, contractor and residential services, and geographical scope,” Herrington’s said.
“It’s an exciting move for Herrington’s that will enable us to better serve customers in an enlarged region in a multitude of ways,” company owner Ed Herrington said in a news release
