L&W Supply, a unit of ABC Supply, opened a construction supply store in Inglewood, Calif. The location will offer wallboard, steel framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and other interior building products and materials. The Inglewood branch represents the 15th California location for L&W Supply.
Ismael De La Cruz will manage the Inglewood branch. De La Cruz has 17 years of industry experience, most recently serving as an inside sales representative at L&W Supply’s Pico Rivera, Calif., branch. According to the Chicago-based L&W Supply, De La Cruz’s role will be to build relationships with the area’s contractors and to help them find solutions for business challenges.
“We look forward to becoming an even stronger partner for our customers in Southern California and being part of the Inglewood community,” Jake Gress, vice president of L&W Supply’s west region, said in a public statement. “Ismael and his team are committed to delivering the services, products and support that the area’s contractors need to succeed.”
With the greenfield branch opening, L&W Supply, a specialty distributor of ceiling systems, steel framing, and other building materials, will operate approximately 170 branches in 35 states nationwide. L&W Supply began 2019 with the acquisition of seven-unit North Carolina specialty dealer Delta Gypsum in March and the purchase of one-unit Colorado distributor Metro Building Products in May.
