Kenneth Beauvais shares the concerns of many that not enough young people are aware of the potential to build a career in construction supply. Unlike others, Beauvais is doing something about it.
On July 16-20, Beauvais’ Hardware Distribution Warehouses (HDW), a regional distributor, will host a “Boot Camp” training program at HDW’s headquarters in Shreveport, La. The program will enable five young people to see how distributors and retail dealers work together, says Beauvais, HDW’s CEO and president.
HDW will cover local expenses after the attendees pay their own way to Shreveport. To apply, write to Beauvais at kbeauvais@hdwinc.comdcordova@foxgal.com before the end of April. Selections will be made by May 31.
