McCoy’s Building Supply opened a branch in Bay City, Texas, according to a news release from the company. The new store features 18,000 square feet of indoor retail space and a paved lumberyard.

The store will serve professional builders, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers throughout Bay City and its surrounding areas, according to McCoy’s. The store will be managed by Tyler Montgomery, Kevin Cowen and Chris Cano will serve as assistant managers for the Bay City location.

“We’re so excited to serve the community and build lasting relationship with our customers,” Montgomery said in the press release. “Our customers can expect our team to greet them with a smile, while providing friendly service and great products.”

McCoy’s purchased the 8.2 acre site used for the Bay City location in August 2018. The dealer has stores in Brazoria, Texas, El Campo, Texas, and Victoria, Texas, all between 40 and 100 miles from Bay City. The location in Bay City was born out of increased demand for McCoy’s products and services, vice president of marketing and sales Dan Stauffer said in August.

San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply operates 88 stores, three distribution facilities, and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico. The dealer ranked 12th on the 2019 ProSales 100, generating $884.4 million in sales in 2018 with 72% of its business coming from professionals.
