McCoy’s Building Supply celebrated the grand opening of its relocated and expanded door and millwork facility in New Braunfels, Texas. The new location, located less than two miles from the previous facility, more than doubles the production capacity for the dealer.
“This is an opportunity to expand our door and millwork manufacturing while bringing nearly 40 jobs to the New Braunfels community over the next five years,” Waylon Walker, senior vice president of merchandising and operations, said in a news release. “The larger facility allows for the addition of new state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment that will substantially increase our efficiency and production capacity.”
The door and millwork facility products custom and standard interior and exterior door units for builder and remodeler customers. The facility is also the door and millwork supplier for over 70 McCoy’s retail locations.
“The continued success and growth of millwork sales at McCoy’s had outgrown the capacity of our previous space,” Scott Lee, director of millwork at McCoy’s, said. “This move allows the continued expansion of our capabilities and services to our growing customer base.”
San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s operates more than 90 stores across five states, two door and millwork facilities, and three distribution centers. The dealer ranked 12th on the 2020 ProSales 100 list.
